Stratocaster Case
Question about my Fender Stratocaster…?
So I pulled out my Strat from the case bout 10 minutes ago, and I noticed that the high E string was VERY close to the pickup, maybe about a millimeter higher. It has never been like this before. Then I was looking closer, and I realized that the silver circles in the pickups were slightly off center. They have been center before. And were. What could be the cause of this? Could accidentally hitting it somehow cause this? Please respond ASAP. Thanks so much! =D
The plastic pickup covers are also slightly offcenter. What could I do to fix this? I mean, it works fine and still sounds great, but for looks I would love to fix it.
it sounds like one of the pickup mounting screws may have come loose.turn the guitar on its back and rotate it to its front in mid-air. if you hear something clank, then it’s probably missing a screw.
If it’s still in, then all you have to do is tighten it to adjust the pickup.
